Cranberry Infused Vodka

Two limes
2 bags of cranberries
cup of sugar
Chopin potato vodka

This is an awesome seasonal host gift. My cousin made them two weeks ago and they were delicious! It is pretty simple to do. Start with a layer of cranberries. Putting a hole with a fork in each before popping them into a jar. I used bottles from the Christmas tree shop $1.99! Then do two or three thin slices of lime, then a bit of sugar. You want half a lime in each bottle and a quarter cup sugar in each bottle. Wait two weeks & voila!

If you have any cranberries left over because you bought the 2 for
$5 bags like I did... Here's the recipe for the cranberry sauce I made tonight!

Cranberry Sauce

Bring 1 cup water to a boil.
Put a little over 1 cup sugar into the mix.
Then 4 cups cranberries.
Let it boil for 5 mins then bring to a simmer for 10 mins.

I added a half cup of blueberries, half a clementine of zest, a 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, and a sprinkle of clove and cinnamon.

Continue to simmer for 5-10 more mins.

Let cool, it'll thicken up as it cools into a wonderful sauce! Let it cool to room temp, then put in the refrigerator to continue thickening/cooling. Loving the aroma that has filled the house :)
